Services that you might find at a Civil Defence Centre
- Civil Defence registration for evacuees
- Emergency food, drink and clothing
- Someone who will listen to you and help where they can with any problems you may have.
- Rescue or medical assistance
- General information about how the response to the emergency is proceeding
- Information about insurance assessments and safety inspections of damaged property.
Note:- The requirement to activate a Civil Centre will be determined by the scope and magnitude of an event. Should the event be a small localised incident, the centre closest to the event could be the only centre to be activated.
